Straight nose rhinoplasty

A straight nose is the classic request in profile: no hump, no dip, one clean line from the root to a neutral tip. It suits faces with a defined jaw and works for men as well as women because it changes the line rather than the character of the nose.

The Straight style in the app produces exactly that on your own side-profile photo. Compare with the slider and check the front view too, because a straight profile should not come with a pinched bridge.

How it works

1Take or upload a photo

A clear, front-facing photo in even light. Some previews also accept a side profile.

2Pick the procedure and a style

Choose what to preview and, where offered, a style such as Natural or Straight.

3Compare before and after

Drag the slider on your own photo, save the result, and export a detailed report to bring to a consultation.

What changes

  • The dorsal hump, removed to a straight bridge line
  • Tip angle, kept neutral rather than upturned
  • Bridge height, balanced with the forehead and chin
StraightNatural RefinedSharp

What stays the same

  • Bridge width from the front
  • Nostrils, lips and chin
  • Your gender and ethnic character
Good to know. Judge a straight nose in profile with the chin in the same photo: if the chin is recessed, the new straight line can make it look weaker. The chin augmentation preview shows whether balancing both is worth discussing.

Questions

Does a straight nose look natural on everyone?

Not on every face. It flatters defined features; on very soft faces a natural refined result often looks more like you. Preview both on your photo.

Is straight nose rhinoplasty only about the hump?

Mostly. The hump is removed and the line is made continuous; the tip is refined only enough to match the new bridge.

Will the profile change my front view?

Slightly. Removing a hump can make the bridge look a little wider from the front unless it is narrowed, which is why the app can preview both views.

Which photo should I use?

A true side profile in even light, hair away from the face. Add the front photo for the second view.
